Today PFS is part of a worldwide fellowship of 113 chartered national ministries affiliated to PFI. As a non-governmental organisation (NGO),PFI maintains consultative status (category II) with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNESCO), and is an active participant in the United nations Alliance of NGO's on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
PF Scotland Mission
PFS is a non-denominational Christian charity working with prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.Through dedicated field staff and volunteers working in Scotland's prisons - and outside through prayer - the Fellowship operates as a resource to prison chaplaincy in changing lives through the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ.
Two Field Officers coordinate the work accross the country. A small central office at the International Christian College in Glasgow is staffed by a part-time Director and part-time Administrator.
